AES Lalpir is a major energy company in Pakistan which owns, operates and maintains an oil fired power station having gross capacity of 362MW at Mehmood Kot, Muzaffarghar, Punjab, Pakistan.

Background

AES Lalpir was facing serious challenges to upgrade the existing system. They not only needed to replace/upgrade outdated power management, grid synchronizing system and switchgear panels with a latest control system, draw-out breakers that not only meet existing system requirement but also exceed in providing all safety protection standards, flexibility, operational requirements and stable operation with a local support, and within short delivery time.

Services

Irinatech Pakistan proposed AES Lalpir a dynamic and advanced power and control system with complete services package of electro-mechanical works which included uninstalling, shifting of the existing system and deployment of new system with commissioning services. Proposed control system was based on equipment from a global supplier of green, safe and reliable control solutions and power system was assembled with international LV components supplier, which is
one of the best manufacturers of power gears.

The whole project was done through best planning of the resources and equipment and without any surprise that makes AES Lalpir fully satisfied and happy with Irinatech’s delivery and services. Following a successful, complete retrofit and implementation of power management system based on control system & LV Switchgear, provides them greater flexibility in operational set-up, improved reliability, effective operator interface, data logging and control.
